Are you still operating during Covid-19?
Fresh air is encouraged by the Government. Walking is so good for physical and mental health. We are fully operational to help you with your requirements.
What precautions are you taking against Covid-19?
We are committed to safety. All our drivers will wear a mask and sanitise their hands before collecting or delivering your luggage from your accommodation.
Do you arrange walking holidays including accommodation?
Move My Bags arranges luggage transfers for walkers across the UK. We’re happy to advise on accommodation based on previous customer recommendations. Just drop us an email info@movemybags.co.uk
Do you only cover the Thames Path, Shakespeare Path and The Ridgeway?
Yes. We’re focusing on these paths now.
What time will my luggage be collected and delivered?
We instruct all drivers to collect your luggage from reception between 9:30am and 10:00am.
It will be taken straight to your chosen next stop and the latest we will ever deliver your luggage is 4.30pm.
Do I have to wait with my luggage until it is collected?
No, that is not necessary. Don’t waste time – head out for your walk as soon as you can! We’ll work with the B&B or hotel to get it to the next destination.
Do I need to insure my luggage?
We’ll always take care of your things – as if they were our own! But it’s always best to insure any luggage for any holiday. Most travel insurance should include luggage – but check.
Do you also arrange luggage transfers for cyclists?
Of course! We can always help with any luggage but unfortunately, we can’t transfer cycles.
Can you arrange to pick us up/drop off from airports or train stations and take us to our first stop?

How can we pay for your service?
We can accept payments by BACS or Paypal. We’ll let you know this with your quote.
Can I travel with my luggage if for some reason I do not wish to walk that day?
We will always try our best. Just let us know as soon as possible and we’ll try to arrange that for you.
If I need to speak to you whilst walking, who do I contact?
We’re always at the end of the line. You’ll get an emergency contact number when you book with us. Please save this in your phone before you start your walk so you have it to hand.
What do you mean by one bag or piece of luggage?
Each bag or piece of luggage that you wish to be transported must weigh no more than 20kg and should not have attached any additional items to it eg. small rucksack, handbag, carrier bag etc.
